Better Luck Next Time

Illustrated this after 2 weeks of staying away from drawing to get ready for a boothing event. Not a lot of creative work here because I merely wanted to focus on getting my proportions right. I also worked on trying to find a quick and enjoyable way to do backgrounds, which now involves loose strokes of the pen and either the paint brush or pen tool for colour.
